Volunteers Continue Improvements at West Acton Community Centre

The West Acton Community Association, a charity run entirely by volunteers, has completed another improvement project at the community centre — this time enhancing the flower beds along the side of the car park.
Local gardener Paul planted 400 bulbs in October last year, and the flowers have now begun to bloom, creating a colourful and welcoming entrance for visitors arriving at the centre. This is the first phase of the project, with further planting planned to be completed by the autumn.
The improvements have already been noticed and appreciated by centre users. One regular member from Ealing Judo, who holds sessions at the centre, shared their thoughts:
“I love seeing the flowers on the way in and out of the centre – thank you.”
The hard-working volunteer team at the West Acton Community Association take great pride in maintaining and improving the centre for everyone who uses it. Their ongoing efforts aim to make the facility an even more attractive and welcoming place for the local community.
This latest enhancement follows the installation of three double-glazed windows last year, another step in the association’s continued programme of improvements.
Visitors can look forward to further upgrades and enhancements over the next 12 months as the volunteers continue their work to develop and improve the centre.
