We are proud to share that the Vice President of London Taekwondo, representing our club, is playing a key role in organising two major international competitions this weekend at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre — the London Open and the prestigious President’s Cup.

Both events will welcome athletes from across the globe, showcasing elite-level Taekwondo and providing an outstanding platform for high-performance competition and athlete development.

The President’s Cup is a particularly significant event. Officially recognised by World Taekwondo, it is hosted in only a select number of locations worldwide, making it a rare and highly respected fixture on the international calendar. Athletes competing have the opportunity to earn valuable world ranking points and, in some cases, qualify for World and Olympic championships.

We are also proud to have members of our own team both competing and supporting the organisation of the event, demonstrating their dedication both on and off the mat.

In collaboration with British Taekwondo, the UK’s national governing body, this event highlights the continued growth and strength of Taekwondo within our community.
